Green Monsta Overnight Oats

green monsta oats
Now I know what you are thinking…
And yeah I guess green isn’t exactly the most appetizing colour, but this bowl was super tasty & by far one of my favourites.
I too was once skeptical of adding leafy greens to my sweet recipes, but turns out the taste does not shine through as much but the great nutrients are all still there.
So if you are intrigued to try then I will leave you with the recipe:

1/2 Cup GF or rolled Oats
2 Tablespoons of chia seeds
1 Tablespoon of gentle fiber
1 Granny smith apple grated

GREEN TOPPING:
1 Handfull of baby spinach
1 Handfull of Baby kale
1 teaspoon of manuka honey
1 Cup unsweetned Almond Milk
Blend this mixture well in you blender or food processor & pour over dry ingredients in an air tight container & stir in grated apple.

Leave in fridge overnight & either eat cold in the morning or warm up.
I topped my oats with Salt Meats Cheese House made Granola & Gluten Free Fiber cereal & drizzled with Walden Farm Apple butter.Bon Appetit.

Banana & Peanut butter Oats

Since it’s still a bit chilli some morning I like to start my day with a big bowl of oats.
The beauty of oats is that you can make them taste as you please and the options are endless for flavour creations!!!
So last night as I sat in the kitchen thinking about todays menu I though mmmmm Banana & peanutbutter are such a great combo, so maybe I will make that into oats.

For this creation you will need:

1/2 Cup of stell cut , rolled or Gluten free oats.

2 Table spoons of Chia seeds

1 Tablespoon of gentle fiber

1 Ripe mashed banana

1 Teaspoon or Table spoon depending on your gluttony

1 Cup Unsweetned almond milk

Pop all ingredient into a container and stir everything until well combined, seal you container and let all the flavours combine over night.
In the morning warm it up & top with whatever you like, tonday I used crunchy organic granola from Salt Meats Cheese .

Bon Apetit.
