Green Monsta Overnight Oats

green monsta oats
Now I know what you are thinking…
And yeah I guess green isn’t exactly the most appetizing colour, but this bowl was super tasty & by far one of my favourites.
I too was once skeptical of adding leafy greens to my sweet recipes, but turns out the taste does not shine through as much but the great nutrients are all still there.
So if you are intrigued to try then I will leave you with the recipe:

1/2 Cup GF or rolled Oats
2 Tablespoons of chia seeds
1 Tablespoon of gentle fiber
1 Granny smith apple grated

GREEN TOPPING:
1 Handfull of baby spinach
1 Handfull of Baby kale
1 teaspoon of manuka honey
1 Cup unsweetned Almond Milk
Blend this mixture well in you blender or food processor & pour over dry ingredients in an air tight container & stir in grated apple.

Leave in fridge overnight & either eat cold in the morning or warm up.
I topped my oats with Salt Meats Cheese House made Granola & Gluten Free Fiber cereal & drizzled with Walden Farm Apple butter.Bon Appetit.
